Teen Leadership

About Teen Leadership

Come join the coolest kids in the county and be a part of Utah County Teen Leadership! This is an open invitation to all 4-Her’s grades 9 through 12.  Take your 4-H experience to a whole new level by getting involved in one of Utah County's Teen Leadership Programs.  You could be a part of...

Teen Council

Get together once a month with other outstanding teens from around the county to help plan and direct the 4-H program for Utah County. Major responsibilities include the Leader's Recognition Banquet, Super Saturdays, Teen Retreat and assisting with the county fair.

County Ambassadors

Help lead the next generation of 4-H Teen Leaders by running leadership retreats for younger 4-H members. Six to eight County Ambassadors are chosen from the Teen Council each year to take on additional leadership responsibilities in the county. The County Ambassadors are responsible for two major service projects as well as two Jr. Teen Retreats for the younger 4-Hers in the county.

TRY Teams

Teens Reaching Youth! Reach out to the community and teach important life lessons and skills to youth in your community. One to four teens and an adult coach form a team and teach 12 hours of educational lessons to younger youth. This can be done in a variety of ways on a variety of topics. This is an awesome opportunity for youth to experience leadership and teaching in a whole new way.

Southeast Regional Ambassadors

Reach outside Utah County and make a difference. Three to four Regional Ambassadors are selected from the Teen Council to represent Utah County in the USU Extension Southeast Region. Responsibilities include attendance at several Regional Ambassador meetings to plan and oversee a special Southeast District retreat in the spring.
