Youth may participate in 4-H from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Cloverbud: K - 2nd
Juniors: 3rd - 5th
Intermediates: 6th - 8th
Seniors: 9th - 12th
The 4-H year begins September 1st and goes through August 31st of any year.
Volunteer leaders are needed in every project area. Our volunteers are what make 4-H possible. For more information on volunteering click HERE.
Utah County 4-H has two main types of clubs:
Family Clubs: Family clubs involve youth and volunteer leaders from the same family. These clubs may focus on one project area or multiple project areas. This club must be registered through the county and must have at least one registered 4-H leader.
Community Clubs: Community clubs include youth from at least 3 families and are often project specific, though they do not have to be. This club must be registered through the county and must have at least one registered 4-H leader.
Joining a Club:
Volunteer leaders are the key to 4-H's success. Our program would not be possible without them. We encourage all new members to think about creating their own family or community club. For more information on creating a club contact the 4-H office at 801-851-8470.
When registering for 4-H youth must select a club. Before joining a club youth must have permission from the club leader. For a list of clubs near you see the following project areas:
