    Study Resources and Portfolio

A portfolio is an organized collection of a person’s progress, achievements, contributions, and efforts that demonstrate accomplishments, size and growth over time. 4-H Portfolios contain important records that can be utilized in applying for scholarships and future employment. Portfolios set the stage for organization, record keeping and leadership.

Senior (grades 9 - 12) 4-H Portfolios for State Competition are due to the Utah County 4-H Office on February 1st 2018. Selected youth will have the opportunity to compete at State 4-H Contests in the Congress Interview Competition. State 4-H Contests are held July 9 - 11th, 2018 in Logan, Utah. Winners selected at State 4-H Contests will attend National 4-H Congress held in Atlanta, Georgia. Congress Interview Contest information can be found HERE

Portfolios provide a great opportunity for youth to record and track their project involvement. There are various competitions throughout the year where youth can be rewarded for their effort. In order to apply for any Utah State University 4-H Scholarship during their 12th grade year youth MUST have a 4-H portfolio.
